PAN Performing Arts School features Dance, Music and Theatre classes in a nurturing environment for students of all ages and levels.

Our programs offer high quality training with small class sizes that allow students to have individual attention from professional artists that are among the best in their fields. This creates a fertile environment for future artists and audiences to grow, while offering the community diverse artistic experiences under one roof.

PAN’s Dance Program includes training in Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, Ballroom, Stretch and Barre, Movement for Rehab and Aging, and Yoga. In addition, PAN offers the unique opportunity to study many ethnic dance forms, such as Flamenco, Belly Dance, Afro-Haitian Dance and Salsa with some of the finest instructors in their fields. Whether for fun and exercise, or for a foundation for a professional career, our artists/instructors provide the best training in their fields.

PAN’s faculty is made up of professional dancers, working at the highest level in their fields with some of the most accomplished companies in Florida, the U.S. and Internationally. They emphasize correct training in technique and style, along with nurturing each student’s full potential. PAN’s teachers are skilled at bringing out the strengths and creativity of each of their students, while addressing weaker areas or challenges. PAN offers performance, volunteering and community service opportunities as well as internships and apprenticeships with professional companies.


PAN’s Music Program offers a curriculum designed to meet individual goals and needs.Basic training includes sight-reading, rhythmic skills, tonal skills and general knowledge of the instrument. Training for Piano, Guitar, Drumming and Vocals, as well as music writing is available in private, semi-private and small group classes.

Flute Man
Music theory and technique for each instrument, combined with performance skills and composition are all introduced at the appropriate level for each student.Students may study various styles, including Classical, Rock, Blues, Jazz, Latin, Folk Country, Pop and Flamenco. Drumming is taught both on its own and as accompaniment for dance classes, as is Flamenco Guitar. There are also classes in song writing and opportunities to join the Children or Teens and Adults Chorus. Ensembles for all instruments are formed by the students who are interested in exploring these opportunities.PAN’s classes are taught by a highly qualified staff of professional musicians and teachers who are dedicated to the mission of developing future musicians and music audiences by providing a supportive and inspiring atmosphere in which all students may explore their full potential and creativity.


BFLR’s Theatre Program provides a wealth of opportunities for the study of theatre in a wide variety of ways.

Acting classes begin with basic training, monologues, creating characters and analyzing scripts, and then scene study, monologues, writing for the theatre, stage management, theatre lighting and production. PAN has its own BlackBox Theater where students may learn about everything that goes into a production with hands-on experience in costume, lighting and set design, directing, marketing and all aspects of performance. Students perform for PAN Student Showcases and participate in Workshops with Guest Artists. They have the opportunity to write and produce their own work as well as to perform the work of their fellow students. PAN students are invited to perform at community events and to be part of professional productions produced by PAN artists and teachers.

As interns with one of the many professional individual artists or performing groups that collaborate with PAN, students may work on productions at PAN as well as in virtually every theatre and community venue in North Miami.
